William C Pylant

William Curtis Pylant went home to Heaven February 9 ^th , 2022. Bill was born April 8 ^th , 1929 in Ruston, Louisiana. He served in the Armed Infantry division where he served our country on the front lines of Korea for 9 months. He married his wife, Doris, of 69 years on June 16 ^th , 1952 after meeting on a blind date. During his life he enjoyed traveling, fishing, playing the dobro and the train whistle to tunes such as Wabash Cannonball. Bill was active in the Luckey VFW 240 division, he also drove truck for various companies for 50 years. He is survived by his wife, Doris, sons David (Diana) and Ron (Heather); grandchildren Josh, Derick, Curtis, and Darcy (Hayley), as well as 5 great grandchildren. Private services will be held for immediate family.
