William M. Bill Like

William Bill M. Like, age 80, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the Villages Regional Hospital in The Villages Florida. He was born May 14, 1937 to W.C. and Corleen (Schwab) Like of Holgate, Ohio. Bill married Shirley A. Eversole on August 16, 1958. Bill was a very skilled electrician and worked 44 years as a member IBEW Local 8 for various electrical contractors in Toledo and the surrounding area. His humor and smile along with his contagious laughter will never be forgotten. Bill was always ready to pitch in and help out his family with their Grandpa honey do list. A devout Roman Catholic, who loved his rosary and was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament for 10 years and Christ the King up until retirement. After retirement Bill enjoyed spending time in The Villages Florida in the winter where he attended St. Timothys and Port Clinton in the summer where he attended Immaculate Conception. Besides his wife of 59 years he is survived by son, Bill (Patty), daughters, Sharon Henney, Karen (James) Cousino, Tina Coberley, Gina (Rod) Schell, brothers, Ron (Carmen), John Robert (Sandy) and Tom (Sue). Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren with 1 on the way. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm with a rosary service at 7:00 pm in Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Trilby, 3219 Tremainsville Rd., Toledo, Ohio 43613 (419-473-1301). Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 10:00 am with visitation starting at 9:00 am at Christ the King Church, 4100 Harvest Lane, Toledo, Ohio 43623. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Bills name may be made to Immaculate Conception Church, 414 Madison St., Port Clinton, Ohio 43452.
