William(Bill) Dietsch passed away on March 12th, 2022. He was the husband of Jacquelyn (Legere) Dietsch for 28 years before her passing in September of 2020.William Dietsch was born on August 26th, 1944, in Toledo, Ohio. He was the son of Maurice and Dorothy (Lemle) Dietsch. He attended St. Francis DeSales High School, and later graduated with a business degree from the University of Toledo. He was first employed as a salesman for the Pillsbury Corporation. He later moved on to work for Western Union in telecommunications sales, which later became AT&T.He was a devout Catholic, attending both a Catholic grade school and high school. Following his time at University of Toledo, he became a member of the Ohio Army National Guard, until his Honorable Discharge in 1971. His passions included golf, boating, OSU football, and just being around the water. He first found this love for the water and boating at Devils Lake, Michigan, and later on the Little Tennessee River, in Tennessee. There, he also discovered a great interest in the construction of elaborate homes, near Rarity Bay,Tennessee, where he had retired.He is survived by his brother Richard and Suzie (Girard) Dietsch; his children, Jason Diestch (Rebecca) and Amanda (Dietsch) Raimi; his stepchildren Kristi (Legere) Poplin (David),Todd Legere, Trevor Legere (Amy); and his grandchildren Cragun Legere, Katy Legere, Zach Legere, Kennedy Poplin, Nathan Raimi, and Lillian Raimi. He was preceded in death by his sister Linda (Dietsch) Penn (Curt), and his brother Donald Dietsch.Bill will be forever remembered for his rich laughter, his boisterous demeanor, and a real zeal for life.Cremation rites have been accorded.
