William Morgan Davis, Sr

William Morgan Davis, Sr., 84, of Erie, MI passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018 at Toledo Hospital. He was born on December 6, 1933 in Rock, Virginia to Aubrey Edward and Delia (Hoyle) Davis. He married Jacqueline Esther Watson on December 20, 1954 in Toledo. William was a long time member of Luna Pier Baptist Church. He worked for ever 30 years at GM powertrain. He enjoyed reading and singing as well as fishing. William is survived by his loving children, William Morgan (Patti) Davis, Jr., and Loretta (Edward) McNulty; 9 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and siblings, Doris Binkley, Norma Phillippe, Leonard Davis and Happy Davis. Friends will be received on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Trilby, 3219 Tremainsville Rd, Toledo, OH 43613 (419-473-1301) where funeral services will be held after the visitation at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
