Wendy Coombs

Wendy J. Coombs, age 40, formally of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Monday, August 31, 2015 at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark, Ohio. She was born in Bowling Green, Ohio on September 14, 1974 to William and Vicky Coombs. She enjoyed her years as an elementary school teacher. Wendy was preceded in death by her father, William Coombs. She is survived by her mother, Vicky Coombs, brother, Matthew (Melinda) Coombs, nephews, Jamie and Noah Coombs. Wendy is also survived by her grandparents, William and Violet Blanton, uncle, William Blanton and cousin, Eric (Linda) Blanton. Visitation will be Thursday, September 3, 2015 at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville, Toledo, (419-473-1301) from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Friday at Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 2820 Alexis Rd., at 10:00 am. until time of funeral service beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will be private.
