Wanita May Turski

Wanita May Turski, 94, of Waterville, OH passed away at her home on Tuesday, May 12th, 2020. She was born on April 8th, 1926 in Toledo, OH to Joseph and Martha (Bertram) DeFilippo and she married Alex “Ollie” O. Turski on July 20, 1946 in Toledo, OH. Together they raised four children. Wanita was a 1944 graduate of Holland High School and was a secretary and bookkeeper for various companies including Jeep and the former Lusk Appliance. She enjoyed her involvement in church, playing cards, crocheting, and bowling, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Wanita is survived by her loving sister, Gloria (Ronald) South; children, Diana (Robert) Green, Gary (Joy) Turski, Debra (Joe) Disher, and Linda (Don) Kulwicki; grandchildren, Tanya Stetler, Kristan (Mark) Mantenieks, Tracy (Doug) Rogowski, Brad (Jill) Turski, Aaron (Erin) Kulwicki, Amy Kulwicki, Adam Kulwicki, Laura (Paul) Estrada, and Andrew Turski; greatgrandchildren, Jennifer, Olivia, Morgan, Phoebe, Gwyneth, Alex, Parker, Addison, Logan, Noah, Nick, Ava, Diego, Madeline, and Benjamin. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ollie, sister Margie Hoffman, brothers Robert and Carl. Funeral services will be private.
