Voncile Kronk

Voncile Chancy Kronk, age 96, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2021. Voncile was born October 16, 1924 in Hartford, Alabama. She moved to Toledo, Ohio in 1956 after marrying the love of her life, Dettmar Kronk, who preceded her in death in 1993. Voncile loved the Lord and lived her life as a Christian woman. She was passionate about her family and had a love of all animals. She could always be found with a supply of peanut butter sandwiches, made daily, for her many squirrels. She was truly loved by everyone who met her. She was a devoted mother and was extremely proud of her four grandchildren. She is survived by daughters Glenda (Jim Phillips) Kronk, Maumee, OH; Chris (Jeffrey) Loomis, Canton, GA; and grandchildren; Eric Aseltyne, Bethlehem, PA, Amanda Bowling, Toledo, OH, Ryan Loomis, Atlanta, GA, and Courtney Loomis, Brookhaven , GA.Visitation for Voncile will be held Monday August 30, 2021 from 10 AM to 12 PM at Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home (3219 Tremainsville Road, Toledo, OH 43613). Funeral services will follow at 12 PM, with burial at Toledo Memorial Park. In lieu of contributions, the family requests that memorials are sent to the Toledo Humane Society.
