Vivian Schafer

Our beautiful and loving mother went to be with the Lord on Mothers Day. What a joyful day it had to be in heaven. Vivian was born in Toledo on September 19, 1928 to John and Lucille Londo. She married the love of her life, George Richard Schafer on April 16, 1949. Together they raised 5 children. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lucille Londo; her husband George R. Schafer; her sisters, Margaret Ehrsam, Pat Maciejewski and Emma Meyers and many other members of her family. She is survived by her children, Cheryl McAllister, Gregory (Johanna) Scahfer, Nancy (Rick) Sohnly, Deborah (Ron) Dielman and Cynthia Schafer; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and other family and friends. Friends will be received at First Baptist Church of Greater Toledo (6520 Pilliod Rd, Holland, OH) on Friday from 10 AM until the time of Services at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Vivians name may be directed to the Church or Hospice of NW Ohio.
