Viola L. Crider

Viola L Crider, born on January 5,1947, in Muncie, Indiana, passed away on January 26, 2026, at UTMC hospital in Toledo, Ohio, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved daughter of Harold Lewis and Gloria Dennis.

She used to work at Toledo hospital as a candy striper then became a full time stay at home mom to Randy, Ronnie and Tammy. She loved to crochet different items for family and friends. 

She is survived by her children, Ronnie Crider and Tammy Reyes; her grandchildren, Kimberly Farnsworth (Evan), Breana Clark, Logan Crider, Landon Crider and Bryant Reyes. She was also a great grandmother to Addison, Remington, Wyatt and Wilder. She is survived by her brother, Sonny Lewis, and sisters, Karen Crandall, Sharon Jones, Susan Pike and Glenda Roman, many nieces and nephews. 

Viola was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Terry Lewis; son, Randy Crider; brothers-in-law, Dick Crandall and Herb Jones. She will also finally be with her husband (true love) Richard G Crider.
