VELYSHA VIET WILLIAMS OBITUARYVelysha Viet Williams was born to Willie D. Williams and Virgina Hudson Williams on December 6, 1964, in Toledo, OH. She was called to be with the Lord on March 19, 2024, in the comfort of her home, at the age of 59.Velysha, better known as, Viet, graduated from Macomber Whitney in 1983 and explored different career paths, including Key Bank (Toledo Trust), until she lost her sight at the age of 21. In the middle of her life, she worked at the Sight Center of NW Ohio.Viet brought joy and sunshine to all she encountered. She had the most beautiful smile that lit up the room, and her laughter was infectious.Even though she lost her vision at an early age, she still lived an active and colorful life and left a lasting impression on all who knew and met her. She enjoyed traveling, music, and spending time with family and friends. The Hudson-Smith-Lillard family reunions were some of her favorite times of the year because they combined her love of travel with her love of family.She is survived by her loving significant other, Gregory Dudley; brothers, Willie D. (Denise) Williams, Jr. and Leon (Rosie) Hudson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, who will miss her dearly.Viet carried the word of God in her heart and welcomed Christ into her life.
