Trent Garno

Trent Douglas Garno, 51, of Northwood, Ohio passed away while in the loving arms of his wife and daughters on Tuesday, September 20, 2022. Anyone who knew Trent can attest that above all else, Trent was a loving and devoted husband and the ultimate “girl dad” who cherished every moment with his family.

Trent was an avid outdoorsman who loved nature, hunting, fishing, boating, camping, and especially “his Lake Erie.” He loved Red Wings and Canadians hockey, Penn State football, and the Steelers. He was mischievous and fun and had the biggest heart. He cherished the memories he made with each of his daughters and never missed an opportunity to be a part of their life in every way from chaperoning field trips, attending class parties, and coaching their softball. He wore tiaras, painted nails, had tea parties, and mastered the art of giving the perfect ponytail. Every kid from a mile away knew they could come to Trent to fix a bike chain or blow up a tire. Trent was loyal and caring and once you were his friend, you became family.

He is preceded in death by his beautiful grandparents, special aunts, his mother (Loann), his father-in-law (Danny), and friend and mentor (Terry).

Surviving is his beloved wife, Tammy (Noe), and daughters, Hannah (Dane) and Bailey, his parents, Doug and Joanie and Rob and Linda, sisters Lisa and Tina, brothers Jeff and Shawn, his beautiful and cherished nieces and nephews, beloved lifelong friends, and of course his “boys.”

Friends and family will be received Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home Holland- Springfield, 7438 Airport Hwy., Holland, Ohio (419-865-8879) where funeral services will begin at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
