Toni Renee Woods

Toni Renee Woods was born June 15,1947 the second of eight children to Willie B. and Rose Calhoun Woods. Toni was a faithful follower of Christ being baptized at a young age. Toni graduated with honors from Swanton High SchoolSwanton, Oh. Toni continued her

education at Goshen college , Goshen, Indiana,with a full ride scholarship. Earning a BS degree in Early Childhood Education.

Toni loved being a teacher, she taught in Goshen In, Jamaica, New York City, and Cincinnati Oh, traveling extensively throughout the United States and the Caribbean. Toni enjoyed needlework, candy making, baking and sharing her secret recipe hot spiced tea.

Toni departed this life Dec 29, 2024 after a debilitating illness with her daughter by her side.

Toni was preceded in death by both of her parents, sister Nancy McCray. And Brother Willie Jefferson (Jeff) Woods. She leaves to cherish her memory her only child, daughter Talena Wiggins (DeWayne), grandchildren, Azhia Wiggins and Antoinne Wiggins, 3 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, John and Steven, and 3 sisters, Darlene Lathon (Paul), Linda Smith-Williams and Ada Winters (Curtis) and a host of nieces and nephews.
