Timothy Sbrocchi

January 5, 1964 — November 1, 2018

Timothy Keith Sbrocchi, age 54, passed away peacefully November 1, 2018 after a short, courageous battle with metastatic esophageal cancer at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, MI. Tim was a graduate of St. Johns Jesuit High School (82) and presently was employed as a Biomedical Technician with TRIMEDX Clinical Engineering Services. He previously was a co-owner of Med-Tech Biomedical Services with his brother, Tom Sbrocchi, as well as the owner of All-Medical Repair Services. Tim was skilled in numerous areas and known to be able to repair anything mechanical. He was also an accomplished builder, constructing his own home which he built with his two sons. Tim especially enjoyed rock music, even playing bass guitar in his early adult years. He enjoyed many hobbies including boating, physical fitness and winter sports. Always an avid outdoorsman, Tim spent many years pheasant and duck hunting. As such, he invented and patented a duck decoy retrieval system marketed through trade shows and Cabellas. He was most happy outdoors enjoying the beauty of nature. Tim also volunteered his time for the less fortunate, most recently giving many hours to the Food Bank in Coldwater, Michigan. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Beth); parents, Michael & Shirley Sbrocchi; brothers, Mike (Kathy), Rick (Anne), Tom (Robyn); Children, Brandi, Philip and Alexander; and many devoted nieces, nephews and family and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday Nov 4th at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Trilby (419) 473-1301) from 2-5pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Christ the King Catholic Church on Monday, Nov 5th at 10am. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the University of Michigan Cancer Research Center or Medical University of South Carolina Cancer Research Center.
