Timothy Kunz

Timothy A. Kunz Sr., of Toledo, passed away in his home on Saturday, June 22nd at the age of 58. He was born on October 21st, 1965 to the late Charles and Genevieve (Carros) Kunz. Tim was a great Dad, father-in-law, grandpa and friend.He experienced more in his lifetime than weve seen in the movies, jumping at the chance for adventure and making memories any chance he could; having a story for every occasion and a joke for anyone who was willing to listen. He excelled as a great carpenter and turned his passion into a lifelong career. Tim spent most of his free time enjoying the outdoors; visiting state parks, going fishing and having good old fashioned bon fires. As long as there was good company and good conversation, he was a happy man.Above all else, he took the time to right his wrongs, showing so much love and support for his six children. Tim was so proud of his kids and his grandchildren were everything to him. He never missed a beat and would show up at the drop of a dime for anyone in need.He is survived by his 6 children, Timothy Kunz Jr., Jeffrey Kunz, Daniel (Megan) Kunz, Katelyn (Chris) Cooper, Jessica Kunz, and Christopher Kunz; his 11 grandchildren, Jascelle Valdez, Dani, Parker, Ryan and Jack Kunz, Ayden and Zachary Kunz, Mila Cooper, Jianna Kunz, Kaycen Davis and Elijah Everman-Kunz; his two brothers, Charles (Mary) Kunz, and Mike (Debbie) Kunz; his two sisters, Tanya Kehoe and Cheryl (Jon) Abele; brother-in-law, Ronald Packer; his loving girlfriend, Ciara Jowarski; along with several nieces, nephews and friends.He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Genevieve (Carros) Kunz; and his sister, Kim Kunz- Packer.His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.A viewing will be held from 12:00pm to 2:00pm on Tuesday, July 2nd at Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd, Toledo, OH 43613. A cremation will take place and the family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
