Thomas E. Dickerson

Thomas Edward Dickerson 77 of Toledo, Ohio passed away September 24, 2022, at Spring Meadows, a Villa Center.

Tom was born June 20, 1945, in Holland, Ohio to Claude and Ila (Johnston) Dickerson. After graduating from Springfield High School in 1963, Tom enlisted into the Unites States Navy and proudly served from 1963 – 1967. He then worked in security for 20 plus years all at the former Edison Plaza in downtown Toledo.

Tom will be remembered for his sense of humor and his contagious laugh as well as his generosity and the love he gave to all around him. He enjoyed watching sports, especially college football and working on any project around the house. He also loved to cook and was a very good at it.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of over 32 years, Patricia (O’Leary) Dickerson; son, Robert Russell (Michelle), and daughter, Shannon (Ronald) Sutton; as well as 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Bonnie (Robert) Stacy and Dorothy Keefe; and brother, Donald Dickerson. Tom is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Robert and Richard Dickerson.
