Thomas D. Brogan Sr., 67, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, in Holland, Ohio surrounded by his loving family. Thomas was born October 13, 1957, to Frank and Wanda Brogan.
For 40 years, Thomas worked at Johns Manville, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. Thomas was also very active in his local union. Outside of work, he was an avid hunter and a passionate Notre Dame fan. Above all else, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family, who brought him immense pride and happiness.
Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, Frank D. Brogan Sr. and Wanda J. Brogan. Thomas was one of seven brothers and cherished the bond he shared with his family throughout his life. Thomas’s memories and love of life are carried on by his devoted wife of 39 years, Traci Brogan; his six children: Thomas (Cam) Brogan Jr., Michael (Cheryl) Brogan, Joshua Milliron, Nicole (Nick) Avalos, Jessica (Andy) Miers, and Shawn (Delaney) Brogan; as well as 15 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Sylvania Moose Lodge #1579, located at 6072 N Main St., Sylvania, OH 43560.
Thomas will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him!
