Thelma Dorothy Frymire Behnke

Thelma D. Behnke, age 91, passed away peacefully, Thursday, February 16, 2012 with her loving family by her side. She was born November 12, 1920 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Orrin and Lena (Specht) Frymire. Thelma married, John W. Behnke on March 25, 1944. She was employed at Lakeside Biscuits, Champion Spark Plug and Toledo Gardens. Thelma enjoyed her visits with her family and had a great memory for dates of happenings through the years. She was a loyal Buckeye fan. Preceding her in death are her loving husband, Johnny, brother, Clarron J. Frymire, sisters, Helen King and Theresa Phillips, and nephew, Larry Frost. Those left to cherish her memory are her niece, Marlene Zollweg, nephews, Richard (Terry) King, and Daniel (Diane) King, sister-in-law, Barbara Frymire, and 10 great nieces and 3 great nephews and their families. Visitation for Thelmas family and friends will be on Monday, February 20, 2012 at H. H, Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd, 419-473-1301 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm with funeral services following at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
