Terrance James Wesley Thompson

Terrance James Wesley Thompson of Toledo, Ohio was born on February 5, 1993 and passed away unexpectedly on February 16, 2023 in his home in Toledo, Ohio. He is survived by his loving parents, Heather (Franklin) Hayslett Peters, Terrance Thompson, and Christina Cole; brother, Landen; sisters, Nakiya, Frankie; nephew and pride and joy, Octavian; extended sisters, Destynie, Dezyreigh, Tatiyana, Aziya, and Serenity; aunts, Dawn, Lacee, Tamika, Monique, Tamara, and Faye; uncles, Clayton (Jeannette), Damian (Cece), and James; grandmother, Donna Hiles; and a hose of cousins and relatives. Terrance was a loving and protective father to his son, Jordan Brown. All of his friends, cousins, nieces, and nephews could come to him if they needed advice, any help, or comforting care in any way. Terrance undoubtedly was a man with his own energetic vibe that couldn't be topped. He demanded all the attention when and wherever he entered a room. To say he will keep you smiling is an understatement, the joy and laughter and silliness will make your face hurt from laughing to loud and too hard. Terrance loved to dance, he'd even twerk if the mood was right. He had no problems getting the party started. He loved traveling, whether it was far away travel for food, a ghost hunting adventure, or camping. His favorite holiday was Halloween. Terrance was a true people person who was respected and loved by many. He was a thrill seeking, adrenaline chaser who was always ready to go, new adventures or cedar point, the sky was the limit. He will be deeply missed. He was kind and stood up for equal rights and was a proud supporter of the LGBTQ Community. His presence is one that will be forever missed. Terrance was preceded in death by his grandpa, Emory Hayslett; grandmother, Ernestine Nelson; cousins, Dustin, Joey, Jasmine, and Gary the Snail. The family will receive guests on Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd, Toledo, Ohio. Guests will be received again on Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm at the funeral home, where a Celebration of Terrance's Life will begin at 1:00 pm.
