Teresa L. Casiano

Teresa (Searcey) Casiano of Toledo, Ohio and formerly of Holland, Ohio passed away and went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the morning of Wednesday, June 16, 2021, while surrounded by her family. Teresa was born April 7, 1961, to Charles and Anna Josephine Searcy at Parkview Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. Teresa attended Springfield High School and completed some postsecondary studies at Owens Community College. She was employed most of her working life as a bookkeeper before making the permanent switch to do her favorite job, which was to take care of her family. Teresa loved to serve people and always had an opening in her heart, and often-times her home, for anyone who needed her. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her many grandchildren were the loves of her life, and she was always happiest spending time with her family. She will be forever remembered by many as a woman who loved Jesus, was devoted to her family, and sought to help anyone in need. She would happily make any sacrifice to be sure others were cared for before herself. Teresa is survived by her husband of 21 years Henry Casiano, sons Anthony Lake (Ashley), Daniel Lake (Kelly), and Keegan Tharin (Kory), daughters Maegan Tharin and Carmen Fox (Andrew). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and two sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Anna Josephine Searcey, and brother Roy Wilmoth. Funeral visitation is scheduled for Monday, June 21, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am, with service beginning at 11:30 am at Walker Funeral Home, Holland-Springfield Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, OH 43528 (419-865-8879).
