Tammy Sanchez Wilson

Tammy A (Sanchez) Wilson, 53, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully at Flower Hospital surrounded by family and friends. She was born May 27th, 1967 in Toledo, Ohio to William and Barbara Sanchez. Tammy attended St Hedwig Grade School and Central Catholic High School, graduating in 1985. She also attended classes at Lourdes College.Tammy worked for Promedica Health Systems for 15 Years, with her last position working in the medical staff office. She left the work force when her children got older to support them in their schooling and outside activities.Tammy was a fanatic sports fan who loved the San Francisco Bay area sports teams, watching the Golden State Warriors, The Giants and particularly, the San Francisco 49ers. She loved the 49ers to the extent that she founded the Ohio/Michigan Chapter of the 49er Faithful. Watching the Niners play every week with friends and family, or going to a game, was her passion. Tammy also enjoyed baking and decorating cakes, gardening and loved spoiling her dog, Cali, affectionately known as K.K.Tammy is survived by her husband of 20 years, Steven Wilson. A son, Alex (Mallory) Wolf of Toledo and her cherished grandson, Asher James Wolf, who was born March 31st, 2021. A daughter, Montana Wolf, also of Toledo. Parents, William and Barbara Sanchez, of Toledo. Brothers, Robbin (Patricia) Sanchez, Tommy (Rosa) Sanchez, William T. (Irene) Sanchez. She also leaves behind numerous family members including half-siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, too many to list individually but never less important to her and loved immensely.Because she never stopped thinking of others, Tammy selflessly chose to be an organ and tissue donor. . In death, as she did in life, she desired to continue her selfless ways and in turn, we hope others will follow her lead.Friends will be received on Monday from 2-8 PM at Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home (3219 Tremainsville @ Alexis, 419-269-1111) where Services will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM.
