Suzanne G. Collier, 68, of Walbridge, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at her residence. She was born in Saginaw, Michigan on January 29, 1955, to the late Dale G. and Joyce E. (Monroe) Smith. Suzanne graduated in 1973 from Lake High School. She had worked for many years at the former Motor Wheel in Luckey, Ohio, until her retirement.

Suzanne had a soft spot in her heart for all animals, always caring for a stray or any furry animal that needed a special touch.
Suzanne will be missed by her sisters, Diane E. Wright and Patricia L. Kesler, brother, Douglas D. Smith, K-9 companion, Emma, ex husband and close friend, Rodney Collier, and nieces and nephews, Michael, Jennifer (Scott) and Faith Wright, Daniell, Griffin, Kendal, Cooper, and Brinley Roberts, Jamie (Jacinto) and Rylee Pecina, Trenton and Gavin Chandler, Jessie (Kade) Astle, Sophia and Dominic Astle, James (Grace) Smith, Justin (Kelcie) Smith, Aiden and Kinsler Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services for Suzanne will be private, and interment will take place in the Lake Township Cemetery at a later date. Those wishing to honor Suzanne, are asked to consider a memorial contribution to the ASPCA, 424 E. 92nd Street, New York, NY 10128-6804. "I Made It Home"
I just wanted to let you know that i made it home
the journey wasn’t an easy one, but it didn’t take too long
Everything is so pretty here, so white, so fresh and new
I wish that you could close your eyes and that you could see it too
Please try not to be sad for me
Try to understand God is taking care of me…
I’m in the shelter of His hands
Here there is no sadness, no sorrow, and no pain
Here there is no crying and I will never hurt again
Here it is so peaceful when all the angels sing
I really have to go for now… I’ve just got to try my wings
PS I will be the first face you see when you get here!
