Steven Smedlund

Steven Smedlund, age 65 of Toledo, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022 at St. Annes Hospital. He was born July 22, 1956 to Eugene and Beatrice Smedlund in Toledo. Steven attended Whitmer High School and would later go on to work at Jeep for 38 years, just retiring earlier this year. He enjoyed camping, Ohio State football, and lived for his wife and grandkids, they were the loves of his life. He was truly a friend to everybody.Steven is survived by his loving wife of 20 years Chrysa; children Steve Smedlund, Monica (Paul) Wittman, Angela Kasten, Tiffanie Sprouse (Jeremy), Gina, and Stephanie; grandchildren Paul, Anastasia, Jacob, Daniel, Alivia, Zach, Seth, Reagan, Jeramiah, Kenneth, Neil, Jaxson, Liam, Eileen, Izzi, and Harley; and siblings Archie Brust, Richard Brust, and Mary (Don) Bentley.Visitation for Steven will be held Friday January 28, 2022 from 3-6 PM at Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home (3219 Tremainsville Rd.
