Sonja Andree

Sonja Andree, age 86, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Friday, June 3, 2011 at the Toledo Hospital. She was born in Frankfurt, Germany on February 18, 1925 to Martin and Maria Schweighofer. When Sonja was young she was a trapeze artist and toured Europe with a dance troupe. She also enjoyed to garden. Her favorite flowers were roses and Lilacs. She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband of 52 years, Richard. Sonja is survived by her daughters, Sonja Dearinger and Sylvia (Todd) Dapkus; grandchildren, Jake, Neena, Emily, Alex and Ellie. Visitation for Sonja will be Thursday, June 9 from 4:00 PM-8:00 PM at H.H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd (419)473-1301. Graveside service will begin Friday at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery at 11:00 AM. Memorial contributions are asked to be made to American Heart Association.
