Shirley Jean Mauder

Shirley Jean Mauder, 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 17, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Toledo, OH to Joseph E. and Phyllis June (Ries) Gracyk on December 30, 1941. Shirley worked many years at Owens-Illinois as a payroll clerk before retiring. She then continued her career with Sylvania Steel as an office administrator. On September 12, 1964, Shirley married her loving husband, Thomas L. Mauder, and together had four wonderful children. In her spare time, Shirley enjoyed dominating Candy Crush on her iPad. Her unique sense of humor, quick wit, exceptional cooking skills, and card playing talents will never be matched.

Left to cherish her memory are children, Kevin (Heidi Kuo) Mauder, Kelly (Jamie) Sorosiak, Keith Mauder, Joe Mauder; grandchildren, Sean Luc, Julian Xavier, Lance, Dakota, Andrew, Jaime, Gabryella, Maria, Stephen, Peter, Devin, Damara; great-grandchildren, Damien, Braylon, Avery, Antonio; brother, James (Tina) Gracyk; and many extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Mauder; sister, Marilyn Pavuk; and granddaughter, Jenell Marie.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024, from 4-7 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home – Holland/Springfield Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, March 23, 2024, beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the American Cancer Society.
