Sheryl Jean Sorosiak

Sheryl Jean Sorosiak, 75, of Holland, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at her residence. Born on September 24, 1948, to parents Dillard and Nettie B. (Ford) Davis.

Sheryl loved being a beautician and working in various barber shops over the years. She had a passion for painting her home and decorating the house for any occasion. Sheryl loved to crochet and was known to be feisty over the years, especially playing Rummy. Sheryl loved spending time with family and will be missed by many.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John M. Sorosiak; brother, Willis Davis; and sister, Rosie Mattimore. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Jamie (Kelly) Sorosiak and Jonathan (Jennifer) Sorosiak; grandchildren, Lance Zywocki, Dakota Sorosiak, Andrew Sorosiak, Jaime Sorosiak, Gabryella Sorosiak, Michael Sorosiak, and Tristan Sorosiak; great-grandson, Holden Sorosiak, and sister, Lafern Meadows.

Friends and family are invited to visit the Walker Funeral Home Holland/Springfield chapel, 7438 Airport Hwy., Holland, on Sunday, November 26, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A Funeral service will be held Monday November 27, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Springfield Township Cemetery.

Memorial donations in Sheryl’s name may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
