Sherri Shadix-Griffith, better known as Shearbear, Sunshine, or BabyGirl was loved by so many. She dedicated her life to serving others, most recently when she worked as an LPN at Bittersweet Farms. She spent 19 years of her life caring for the residents of Bittersweet - loving them as if they were her own. She loved crafting, including making jewelry and candles. Family was the most important thing to Sherri and she loved spending time with her sons and grandsons.
Anyone who met Sherri would say she was the most caring person. No matter her situation, she always put others before herself. She was one of a kind and once you met her, you loved her as if you had always known her. Sherri was as honest as they come and not afraid to tell it how it was. She had a wit and sarcasm that was contagious.
She is survived by her husband, Mark, of 38 years; her sons, Cody (Sarah), Logan (Megan), and Levi; 2 grandsons, Grayson and Lincoln; her twin sister, Terri (Bryan) West; father, James (Jeanette) Shadix; step sisters, Dawn (Ed) Bellner, Deidre (Frank) Schneider. She was preceded in death by her mother, Merrylee and her stepfather, Louis Greenburg.
This world is less bright without her in it, but heaven has gained a warrior. We love you to the moon and stars and back.
