Sharon Cherry

Sharon L. Cherry, 90 of Toledo, Ohio, received her beautiful wings on May 25, 2026. She was born on September 27, 1935, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Harold and Adeline (Perlick) Williams. She married EdwinJ. Cherry, Jr. in 1953.

Sharon worked for the Rossford Army Ordinance while Edwin served his country during the Korean War; her other jobs consisted of the Lutheran Social Services, Tiedtke's Department Store, and the Ruch Construction Company, which she and Edwin owned.

Sharon enjoyed spending time with her family. Her family was the most important thing in her life.

Sharon leaves behind her children, Cynthia Adams and Mark (Laurie) Cherry, both of Holland, Ohio; grandchildren, Kelly (Bill) Humble, Corey (Erica) Adams, and Jay (Tiffany) Bechtel; 7 great-grandchildren, her brother Kenneth (Jenny) Williams; and son-in-law, Kent Bechtel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Gail Bechtel, and brother Randy Williams.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday May 29, 2026 at 12:30 P.M. at the Ray Neville Chapel at Sunrise Cremations and Funerals, Holland (7438 Airport Highway). Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10:30 A.M. until the time of the service at 12:30 P.M. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
