Sharon Bertz

Sharon Bertz, age 82, passed away on August 6, 2024. A lifelong resident of Toledo, Sharon was born on December 23, 1941, to parents Nathaniel and Annie Bell (McCants) McCreary. She graduated from Scott High School in 1960. Following graduation, she went on to work as a bank teller for 23 years, then for many years as a factory worker at Chrysler until her retirement.Sharon was very creative and loved making the world around her more beautiful through arts and crafts. As she began her life in December, Sharon always loved the holidays and will be especially missed at Christmas time.Sharon was preceded in death by Herbert Bertz, Willy Ragans, and her parents. She is survived by her children, Michael (Diane) Ragans, William (Deborah) Ragans, and Judi (Ragans) Williams; grandchildren, Latrice Ragans, Mychael Ragans, Jordan Williams, Myeisha Williams, Michael Williams Jr., and Damien Williams; sister-in-law Clare McCreary, and brother-in-law Durrell Lowe; a host of great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and many cousins.Services will be private.
