Sharon Aller

Sharon L. Aller, age 84, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family August 12, 2021, due to complications from Alzheimer's. She was born September 28, 1936 in Bay City, Michigan to Oland Lutz and Edna Lutz, but was raised and grew up in Sylvania, Ohio by the Clarence Sass Family. She married Eugene G. Gardner on March 2, 1963 who proceeded her in death in 1973. She was blessed to have found love again and married V. Eugene Aller in 1978 who preceded her in death in 1981. Sharon is survived by her: sister-in-law Carolyn Wiars (Gardner); sister-in-law Jackie Matson (Richard Matson); her two daughters Sara (Gardner)Duncan and Ron Duncan and Jo Lyn (Gardner) Philippi and Mark Philippi; grandchildren, Rachel (Duncan) and Derrick Baksa, Abby (Duncan) and Joel Densic, Adam Duncan, Jordan Philippi, Sarah Philippi and several nieces and nephews. All of these she loved and cherished. Sharon was the owner/operator of Oak Grove Mobile Home Park in Toledo, Ohio and retired in 2003 when she moved to Perrysburg Ohio. She was an active member of Westgate Chapel and attended Athens Missionary Baptist Church with her family once her memory started to decline and she could no longer drive. She was an active member of The Order of Eastern Stars and obtained her 50 -year pin. She was also a beloved Mother Advisor for Rainbow Girls. She battled breast cancer and won that battle over 34 years ago. Please join us in celebrating her life. Viewing will be held on Monday August 16th from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral home at 701 N. Main Street, Walbridge Ohio. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday August 17th at Athens Missionary Baptist Church, 101 Breckman Street, Walbridge, Ohio and burial at 1:00 p.m. at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park 4210 W. Central Ave, Toledo, Ohio. Donations can be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association or the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
