Scott Henry Fansler passed away on February 26, 2025, in Toledo, Ohio. Scott was born on July 17, 1981, in Coldwater, Ohio, to Gary Lee and Jeanette (Goldberg) Fansler. He was 43 years old.
Scott attended Northmont Senior High School. In 2007, he proudly joined the U.S. Army, where he served in the military police until 2009. Outside of his military service, Scott worked in various trades.
In his free time, Scott had a creative side that he nurtured through his love of tattoos. He spent hours drawing designs and sharing his talent by tattooing others. His love of art and creativity was also reflected in his hobbies. He enjoyed playing video games like Fortnite, Diablo, and Armored Core. He was also an avid fan of all things Star Wars, with a special fondness for The Mandalorian. Watching 80s movies, such as The Thing and The Goonies, was one of his favorite pastimes, often shared with his brother, Brian.
Scott was known for his generous heart and willingness to help others. He enjoyed cooking, particularly making breakfast foods and steaks for those he loved.
Scott is survived by his significant other, Brandie Maqueda; his siblings, Renee, Michelle Wolfe, and Brian (Amanda) Fansler; his uncles, Vince (Gale) Goldberg and Ronnie; his aunt, Kathy Henderson; and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gary Lee and Jeanette (Goldberg) Fansler.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robert Shank, Sr. Chapel at Sunrise Cremations and Funerals - Walbridge, 701 N. Main Street, Walbridge, Ohio. A funeral ceremony will follow at 7:00 PM in the funeral chapel.
