Sarah Spencer

Sarah Beth DeNeve Spencer, 47 of Toledo, Ohio, passed away from heart issues on March 19th, 2022 with her family by her side. She became a hero as an organ donor. Sarah was born on July 9th, 1974 to James and Linda DeNeve in Oregon. She graduated from Start High School in 1992, married, and worked at Libbey Glass for over 20 years.Sarah was a kind, beautiful, and gentle soul who was a talented painter and loved spending time with her cat Princess and dogs Punkin and Shelby. She enjoyed being around family and friends, laughing and drinking coffee. Sarah was especially proud of her sobriety and dedication to AA.Sarah is survived by her; mother Linda DeNeve; daughter Weltha Spencer; brothers Robert (Shonda) DeNeve and Thomas (Cheryl) DeNeve; nephews Justin and Spencer DeNeve, and Kyle and Matthew DeNeve. She is preceded in death by her; father James DeNeve; and grandparents Arthur and Elizabeth Stager and Julius and Laverne DeNeve.Special thanks to good friend Jessica, her sponsor in Sobriety Squares, for helping the family through this difficult time. Sarah was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. A private memorial service will be held for family at a later date.
