Sarah E. Shoffner

Sarah E. Shoffner age 80 of Toledo, Ohio, died Monday, June 4, 2012 at St. Vincents Hospital. She was born in Harlan, Kentucky on January 16, 1932 to Henry and Mary Burkhart. Sarah was happily married for 43 years to her loving husband, Donald. They had their own businesses, Swiftys Evergreen Motel and Dons Bar. Sarah enjoyed working with her husband and retired in 1993. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kelly Burkhart; sisters, Lottie Peace and Frankie Martin. She is survived by her loving husband, Donald Shoffner. Visitation for Sarah will be held at H.H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd. (419-473-1301) on Thursday, June 7, 2012 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM (noon). Funeral services will begin at 12:00. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
