Sara Kear

Sara Marie Kear, 35, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 21, 2022 after a hard fight against cancer. She was born on March 13, 1987 in Toledo, Ohio and grew up in Perrysburg, Ohio. Sara spent her life creating things and helping others. She was a talented artist and metalsmith with Bachelor's in Fine Arts from Bowling Green State University. Her creativity also found outlets in her beautiful poetry and writing. She was a compassionate and energetic yoga instructor whose classes enriched the lives of many. She spent many years as a barista during which she formed numerous lifelong relationships. Sara will be missed by all the people whose lives she touched, especially by her loving husband Sean Granger, her parents Steve and Kathleen Kear, her sister Kristin Kear, her brother Jonathan Kear, his wife Katy and son Emmett, along with uncles, aunts, cousins, Sean's family, and many close friends who were like family to her . The funeral will be held at the Buddhist Temple of Toledo. 3902 Emmajean Rd., Toledo, OH 43607 at 4:00 PM on Saturday May 28, 2022. Visitors will also be allowed to see her at the temple from 4:00 PM through 8:00 PM on Friday.
