Sandra E. Ellis

Sandra Ellis, age 72 of Toledo, Ohio passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Mercy St. Vincent Hospital. She was born in Toledo on June 6, 1943 to Earl and Loretta Ford. She was a licensed nurse and also received a degree in social work. She had faith in the Lord. She was a proud foster grandparent for TPS. Sandra was a proud and life-time member of Wild Bunch Motorcycle Club. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Joyce Ford. Sandra is survived by her loving children, James R. (Dee Dee) Ellis Jr., Eric J. (Kimberly) Ellis, Damon K. (Marjorie Pettis) Ellis, twin daughters, Stephanie Ellis, and Joyce Ellis and Arlesa Ford-Walls. Beloved grandchildren, James Ellis III, Ashley Burt-Ellis, Jeron Ellis, Jerome Hunley-Ellis, Laiesha Ellis, Eric Ellis II, Hailey Galvan, Damar Ellis, Nate Walls, Nickolas Walls and, great grandchildren, Amare Walls, Calaya Hunt. She also is survived by her former husband, James Ellis SR and brother, Stephen Ford. Memorial visitation will be Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 1:00 pm until time of Memorial Service beginning at 2:00 pm, Minister James R. Ellis JR will officiate at Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home, 1163 W. Sylvania Ave, Toledo, Ohio (419-269-1111).
