Samuel D. Barker

Samuel David barker, 30 of Toledo, passed away on Wednesday June 22, 2022. Born in Toledo, Sam grew up in Graytown, Ohio and attended Oak Harbor High School and Penta Vocational High School. He proudly graduated in 2012.Sam was a very selfless and giving man to anyone he came in contact with. He was a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen. He loved with all he had. His pride and joy, the most important part of his life was his beautiful daughter Eliza Grace Barker. He will be deeply missed by many.Sam was preceded in death by his father Robert (Bob) Barker and brother Jeff Barker. He is survived by; the loves of his life, fiance Alison Avery, daughter Eliza Barker, and stepson Tony Morelock; mother Susan Barker; sisters Amanda Reid, Denise Barker, and Stephanie Barker; adopted siblings Bailey Barker, Damien Barker, Darin Barker, Mandy Barker, Josh Barker, Phillip Barker, Eric Barker, Bonnie Barker, Linda Barker, Daniel Case, Kathy Pickens, and Christy Taunt; aunts Cari Vicary and Holly DeHart; and cousins Cody Vicary, Kirsten DeHart, and Kyleigh DeHart.A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022 from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home (3219 Tremainsville Rd. Toledo, OH 43613).
