Sally A. Ritter

Sally A. Ritter, age 84 of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully on March 10, 2016. She was born on June 28, 1931 in Logan, Ohio to George and Nola Marie Ford. Sally was employed as an R.N. at Toledo Hospital, retiring in 1995. Sally was very active and a long-time member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She was also a member of The Toledo Ski Club, and loved to traveled around the world. She was preceded in death by her parents, and beloved husband, Kenneth Ritter, brothers, George Bob Ford, Sam Ford and Frank Ford and her step mom, Helen Ford. Sally is survived by her devoted children, Sharon (Thomas) Jamerson, Kathy (Carey) Kowalski, Kevin (Eugenia) Ritter, grandchildren, Chris (Rachel), Ryan, Andrea (Tom), Kendra (Chris), Eugene and Krystal, also great grandchildren, Sylvia, Austin and Brendan. She is survived by sisters, Gabby (Doug) Crane and Mary Kay Casto. Visitation will be Monday, March 14, 2016 at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd (419-473-1301) from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm with Scripture Service beginning at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, March 15 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4100 Harvest Lane from 9:00 am until start of Mass at 10:00 am.
