Ruth Ribby

Ruth E. Dukeshire Ribby, age 90, went home to be with the Lord on August 26, 2018. Ruth was born on November 3, 1927 to Edward and Helen Dukeshire. Ruth loved cardinals and flowers as well as playing Bingo and Bunco. She was also past President of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 2898 in Toledo. She is survived by her sister, Joyce; children, Roger, Carl, Sharon, Glenna (Tom), Dennis, David and Gary (Angie); many nieces and nephews as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; late husband, Ellis; sister, Phyllis; brothers, Bruce, Fred, Edward and Lawrence; sister-in-law, Donna Cox; daughters-in-law, Darlene and Tammy; godson, Hershel Wooley and life-long friend, Virginia Wooley. Friends will be received at Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home (1163 W. Sylvania at Lockwood, 419-269-1111) on Wednesday from 2-8 PM, where Services will be held on Thursday at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in Ruths name to the American Cancer Society.
