Ruth L. Heiptman Lawton

Ruth Lawton, age 90 of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, July 8, 2011. She was born in Toledo on September 26, 1920 to Paul and Antonia Heiptman. Ruth was very active and enjoyed Ladies Oriental Shrine N.A. Inc. where she was a member for 57 years. She also stayed in contact with the ladies she graduated with from Libby High School, going to lunch every month with them. Ruth held various positions with Scottish Rete Auxiliary and was very active with Town Club and was a page with Omdas Group of Dendaran Court #10. She will be greatly missed by her friends at the Red Hat Society. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Lawton. She is survived by her granddaughter, Laura Lawton, nephews, Don Rex and Tom Rex and niece RuthAnn Dykstra. Memorial visitation for Ruth will be Friday, July 15, 2011 from 10:00 am until time of service at 12:00 pm at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Road, (at Alexis) 419-473-1301. Shriner's service will be held at 11:30 am. Memorial contributions may be given to the Ladies Oriental Shrine.
