Ruby Loretta Seegert a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt departed this life for Paradise on April 22, 2022 at the age of 97.She was born to Clifford and Mary Ellen Stetter on October 20, 1924 in a house in Toledo, Ohio during the years of the Great Depression. Ruby, her mother, father, and two sisters (Bessie and Marilyn) moved to a farm in Petersburg, Michigan because of the depression. As a teenager, she met and married a neighborhood boy, Ellsworth Noah (Noahie) Seegert on May 23, 1942. They were married for 72 years until his death in 2014. Together, they had four children; Carole (Gene) Jenne, Kenneth (Janet), Catherine (Kenneth) Oishi, and Kevin (Kay); 25 grandchildren, great and great-great-grandchildren.Ruby loved to travel, so she and her husband bought a camper and toured through most of the United States, including Hawaii. They journeyed to Israel, Greece, and Italy. She and her sister Marilyn took several cruise ship voyages. They lived in Petersburg and Dundee, Michigan as well as in Winter Haven, Florida. For the past two years, Ruby lived in Blissfield Place in Blissfield, Michigan. A wonderful place to end up, she said.Ruby taught Bible classes and loved to sing in the choir in the various churches where she was a member. She was also a teller in Petersburg and Dundee banks for many years, where her line was always the most popular.An open house celebration of her life will be held on May 14 from 1-4 PM at the Old Mill in Dundee.
