Ruben Charles

Ruben passed away suddenly from a heart attack at his home in Holland, Ohio surrounded by his family. Ruben was the most amazing, kindest man on this Earth. There was only one Ruben and his greatest love was for his 8 children and grandchildren. He will be missed and loved forever. He is survived by his children, Crystal (Randy), Nikki (Adam), Jessica, Johnny, Michael (Melanie), Little Jess, Sierra and Emily; his best friend, life long partner and mother to his children, Kim; his beautiful wonderful grandchildren, who gave him so much love and joy, Josiah, Levi, Vincent, Maxwell, Isabelle, Logan, Micah, Malachi, Millicent, Maleah and baby Mariana; his siblings, Jose (Kim), Norma (Mike) and Martha; 4 special people Ruben loved dearly, his best friend since childhood, Darrell Hixson, 2 co-workers, James and Reggie, and Paris, who adopted Ruben as her second dad. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leandro and Virginia; brother, Frankie; brother-in-law, Tim; and niece, Serenity. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 2:00 until the time of the funeral service at 6:00 pm in Walker Funeral Home, Holland-Springfield Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, OH 43528 (419-865-8879).
