Roy Eugene Leach

Roy Eugene Leach, 59, passed away on November 15th, 2021 at St Annes Hospital. He was the husband of Paula Ann Leach. They shared 34 years of marriage together. Born in Jellico, Tennessee, he was the son of Roy A. Leach and Brenda Smith. Roy graduated from Whitmer High School, class of 1980. He was employed at Heidtman Steel for 30+ years. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially nature photography. Hiking everyday was a must even if he was in pain because being outside was worth suppressing it for a moment of fresh air. We also cant forget Roys love for motorcycle riding. The joy, freedom, and friendships he gained from that was everlasting. He will be remembered by his confidence, comedic timing, caring soul, endless love, and his very loud and rememberable laugh. Roy is survived by his beautiful wife, Paula (Schaefer) Leach, three wonderful children, Kyle Leach, Nathaniel Leach, Baillie Leach, two of the furriest cats, Luna Leach, and Piper Leach, father, Roy A. Leach, and three siblings, Ritch (Lisa) Leach, Joseph (Cathy) Leach, and Patricia Burks (Brian Blackwood). He was predeceased by his mother, Brenda (Smith) Cote, mother in law, Freda (Osenbaugh) Schaefer, and life long fur friend, Bo Leach.
