Rose Balusik

Rose Balusik Rose Balusik, 67, of Swanton, OH passed away at her home on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. She was born on September 12, 1953 in Fort Payne, AL to Eugene and Wilma (Borchardt) Chandler and she married Michael Balusik in Maumee, OH on October 10, 1992. Rose was a member of Grace Bible Fellowship in Swanton for many years. She loved to garden, travel and spend time with her friends. Rose was known as a very giving and selfless person. She would do anything for you. Her greatest joy in life was being a grandmother and spending time with her grandchildren and great granddaughter. Rose is survived by her loving children, Aaron (Lyndsey) Croskey, Derina (Archie) Mead; grandchildren, Brooke (Justin), Brittney, Michaela (Josh), Raymond Jr. and Nathan; great granddaughter, Kynnedi; siblings, Renita (John) Cordell, Robert (Glenda) Chandler and Ruby (Harold) Biddie; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Wilma; husband, Michael; and sister, Roxanne. Family and friends will be received on Monday, August 2, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Walker Funeral Home, Holland-Springfield Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, OH 43528 (419-865-8879). Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Swanton Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital or to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
