Ronald Shadler, Jr.

With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Thomas Shadler, Jr. (Toledo, Oh) on April 4, 2025. He was a beloved Son and Brother, cherished Uncle, Best friend, and a nature lover. Ronnie was born on September 8, 1975 in Toledo, Ohio to (surviving parents) Ronald and Sue Shadler. Ronnie was a true outdoorsman, finding happiness and serenity while being and doing anything outdoors. Ron leaves us his legacy of love, devotion to those who loved him, and countless memories.

Ron was a young boy when he found his love for hunting and fishing and he continued his love long into his adulthood. He grew to have a deep respect for nature and an enthusiasm for the outdoors, often inspiring those close to him to embrace their own love for the wild. Ron was known for his big heart, quick wit, and his ability to make everyone feel welcome.

Ron was a loyal son and brother, a devoted, endeared, and nurturing uncle and Great Uncle, friend to many, and a source of laughter with good times for everyone. His memory will forever be etched in our hearts.

During his 30-year metal plating career, Ron was a dedicated, proud, respected, teamplayer. Ron started his career at Moore Metal Finishing and then worked Hale Performance Coatings.

Ron is preceded in death by his younger Sister, Joyce Ann Shadler, and Grandmother, Betty J. LaPlant.

God-Child and Niece: Jasmin Schmidlin (Lee)

Nieces: Jae Peltz (Steve), Jami Ludwig (Zach), Alicia, Karra, Crystl, Cori, Lincoln, Charlotte, Leighton, Lillian

Nephews: Jordan Schotter (Breanne), Jamison, Chance, AJ, Aaron, Christian, Jordan, Greyson
