Robert Kenneth Umbs

Robert K. Umbs, age 87, of Walbridge, OH, died June 29, 2026 at home. He was born March 5, 1939 in Toledo, OH to Mr. & Mrs. RKH Henry (Lucille Bowen) Umbs. He retired from CSX Railroad as an Engineer after 42 years of service. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Survived by his wife, Marilyn; children, David Shelton, Thomas Umbs, Kimberly Shelton and Kenny Umbs; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, including Marilyn Farley. He was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Price.

Friends will be received at the Robert Shank, Sr. Chapel at Sunrise Cremations and Funerals, Walbridge (701 N. Main St.) on Saturday July 11, 2026 from Noon until the time of Services at 4 PM, followed by Military Honors.
