Robert C. Talley

Robert Claude Talley, born October 27, 1926 passed away peacefully in his home in Lambertville, Michigan on Tuesday, August 2, 2016. He was preceded in death by parents, Claude and Emma Talley; brothers, Clarence and George Talley; wife of 62 years, Phyllis (Worster) Talley. He leaves behind his sons, James Edward Talley and Thomas Talley; grandchildren, Jenny (Talley) Werr, James, Kevin, and Emily Talley; seven great-grandchildren; and many close friends.Robert Bob was born in Auburn, Indiana to Claude and Emma Talley. He proudly served in WWII, stationed in Germany and retired from a long career at the Dana Corporation after 36 years. Bob found joy in collecting antiques, tending to his roses, and baking cookies. He was an active member in his community and enjoyed spending time volunteering at Flower Hospital's oncology department. He also published a Talley family genealogy book.A memorial service will take place Friday, August 12, from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Fellowship Bible Church, 1125 West Temperance Road, Temperance, Michigan 48182. On Saturday, August 13, at 11:00 a.m. there will be a grave site service at the Christian Union Cemetery in Garrett, Indiana, SR327-West SR8-North CR7, followed by a gathering at the Garrett Church of Christ, 213 E.
