Robert Stannard

Robert A. Stannard, Jr. Robert A. Stannard, Jr., 91 of Toledo, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at the Goerlich Center in Sylvania, Ohio. He was born on March 2, 1926 in Toledo to Robert A. and Georgianna (Geer) Stannard, Sr. He was married to Jean L. Stannard for 61 years. Robert proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII as an aviation radioman. He enjoyed woodworking and spent some of his career as a handyman. Robert also enjoyed doing puzzles. Robert is survived by his daughters, Sandra Drake and Suzanne Bain; 2 grandsons and 2 granddaughters; several great grandchildren; and sister, Betty Curtis. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife and sisters, Doris and Virginia. Funeral services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in Roberts name to the Alzheimers Association.
