Robert M. Ray of Genoa, Ohio passed away on January 24, 2025. Robert was born to John and Emma (Broshious) Ray in Louisville, KY on June 4, 1952.
He is leaving behind his loving wife, Lesa (Michaels) Ray of 52 years. Daughters, DeAnn Sudek, Julie Luce, Heather Ray. Grandchildren, Nicholas, Kyle, Aleia, Ava and Tucker. Brother, Hank Gorski. Sister-In-Law, Sue Ray and many nieces and nephews. He is now home to the Big Card Game in the sky with his parents and 6 brothers: Edward, Albert, John, David, Thomas, and Timothy.
He retired from General Motors after 35 years. Robert was a member of the Fraternal order of Eagles in Clyde Ohio. He was an avid golfer and loved Karaoke. He enjoyed fishing, camping, playing cards with family and being the life of the party. He was always ready with a joke to make you smile. His family and friends meant everything to him… and let’s not forget his Ohio State Buckeyes!
Robert’s wishes were to have a Celebration of Life. He wanted to be remembered with laughter, not tears. The Celebration will be on February 16th. From 1-5 p.m. at The Rossford Fraternal Order of Eagles, 658 Lime City Rd. in Rossford, OH 43460. The family wishes to give a big thank-you to St. Vincent Heart Center for their care and compassion.
