Robert Pheils

Robert Pheils, 93, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Wednesday July 19, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born to Everett S. and Dorothy (Milling) Pheils on October 7, 1923 in Toledo. He was married to the love of his life, Loyola (Adler) for 61 years, prior to her passing in 2008. Robert is an Army veteran, having served his country in World War II, in both the European front and the Pacific front. After serving his country, he returned home and was a car repairman for 31 years for Conrail before his retirement in 1974. Robert and his wife were members at Augsburg Lutheran Church. Robert was extremely passionate about caring for animals, donating to local groups for animal welfare. Robert will be missed by his children Steve (Sharon) Pheils, Ron Pheils, Cynthia Koepfer; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Robert is preceded in death by his wife Loyola Pheils; parents Everett and Dorothy; brother Everett Pheils, Jr.; and sister Donna Mae.
