Robert F Paisie

Robert F. Paisie, age 79 of Napoleon, Ohio and formally of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Regency Hospital. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 14, 1931 to William and Elizabeth Paisie. Robert is a veteran of the United States Army. He was employed with the US Postal Service for 34 years, retiring in 1994. After retirement Bob worked for Key Distribution for 15 years. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan, and loved all of Ohio sporting events. Robert especially loved going to Rose Bowl football games with his son, Robert. He loved to travel and visiting 48 states and playing golf. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family, and going on camping trips with his daughter, Vickie and her family. Robert was a 50 year member of Trilby United Methodist Church and a 35 year member of Conn Wiessenberger Legion Post and APUW-AFL. After moving to Napoleon, Bob attended McClure United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Elizabeth and his 6 siblings. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Barbara Paisie, his beloved, children, Victoria Vickie (Rick) Barteck, Robert (Cherie) Paisie, adored grandchildren, Dr. Jennifer (Craig) Laubenthal, Katelyn Barteck, Taylor Paisie, Nathan Paisie, his brother, William (Darlene) Paisie and several nieces and nephews. Visitation for Robert will be Friday, Nov 12 at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd (at Alexis) 419-473-1301 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Legion service will begin at 7:30 pm. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday. Roberts family would like to thank Henry County Home Care, especially nurse, Trina for all their love and care during this difficult time.
