Robert Green

Robert Newman Green, age 79, of Toledo, passed away peacefully at Hospice on December 22, 2015. He was born on July 9, 1936 in Ducktown, Tennessee. Robert retired from Chrysler after a dedicated 30 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and he loved playing poker in his free time. He was extremely loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Surviving are his wife, Janet; sons, Robert, Donald (Toni), Randall, Roger (Michael) and Raymond (Aliescha); brothers, Moselee Bo Thomason, Ronald RL Byrd, Edward Green, Lynn Buster Green; sisters, Jeanette Leaper, Linda Barnes, Wilma Head, along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Sheri. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Flora (Kennedy) Green; Stepmother, Cynthia (Ledford) Green; son, Ronald; daughter, Lorrie; brothers, Jack Green, Tom Green, Bill Green, Clyde Green, Walter Green and sister, Ruby Redd. Friends will be received at Blanchard-Straler Funeral Home (1163 W. Sylvania at Lockwood, 419-269-1111) on Monday from 2 PM until the time of Services at 7 PM. An additional brief Service will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park
